India Posts
For over 150 years, the Department of Posts (DoP) has played a major role in the nation's social and economic growth. This is a personal triumph for everyone because this touches the lives of Indians in a variety of ways: accepting deposits under the Small Savings Schemes, providing life insurance under Postal Life Insurance, selling postal forms, etc. The DoP is also an agent for government of India discharging wage disbursements and old-age pension payments in addition to other services to citizens such as the National Gandhi Rural Employment Guarantee Scheme (MGNREGS). The DoP is the world's largest postal network with 1,55,531 post offices.
